The private house with private & secluded gardens is set in the centre of seaside village, Los Caños de Meca. The beach house comprises 2 well apportioned double rooms, a spacious lounge & dining area, luxurious bathroom & newly fitted kitchen. Sky TV & WIFI Internet are included as standard. The spacious roof terrace enjoys magnificent panoramic forest & seaviews across to the Moroccan coastline. Stunning sunset view-spot of the beaches of El Palmar to Cabo de Trafalgar & the cliffs at Los Caños de Meca. The gardens are designed to offer suntraps for those who worship the suns rays & shade for those who prefer relaxing in cooler temperatures. Only a 60 second walk to the stunning beaches, dramatic coastline & crystal clear waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Only a 60 second walk into the heart of the `Parque Natural’ & the splendour of the extensive natural pine forest. The immediate area offers a plethora of activities: Wind surfing, kite surfing, surfing, swimming, sea fishing, walking (forest, cliffs, beaches), ornithology, horse riding, quad biking, historical points of interest: site of Battle of Trafalgar 1805. The house & garden is child-friendly, as are the beaches with rock pools & plenty of opportunity for beach combing. The local area includes culturally rich, typically andalucian old towns & pueblos: Medina Sidonia, Conil, Vejer de la Frontera & Alcala de los Gazules are ideal for sampling local cuisine & tapas.
The local fishing towns of Barbate, Zahara de los Atunes & Conil are famous for fresh fish & sumptuous seafood restaurants.
Nearby Cadiz, where the old central quarter is famous for its picturesque charm & intriguing narrow cobbled streets which open onto small beautiful squares. The golden cupola of the cathedral looms high above long white houses & a walk along the headlands takes you through the entire old town as you pass through some lovely parks with sweeping views of the bay.
The sherry region of Jerez de la Frontera are ideal for wine & sherry tasting. Jerez has grand sweeping streets & a markedly aristocratic air & is famous throughout the world for its fine dancing horses and brilliant singers and dancers of flamenco.
The North African coastline of Morocco, clearly visible from the roof terrace & beach, is only 75 minutes away & very accessible for a day trip. The surfing town & port of Tarifa (40 minutes drive) has a number of catamaran crossings each day (35 minutes to Tangiers).
